They tell you that on the Web site, in the interview, and orientation.

If he's been here more then 2 years he's been grandfathered so it doesn't matter.

Since the New Jersey accident, they've made it their business. If he's been hired since the policy went into effect and he's not honest, I'd say his job is at risk.

Last year the company needed to reverify my address because some items that were mailed to me were returned. As it turned out, the person who previously lived at my address had the same first and last name as my first and middle name, so anytime something was mailed to me that included my middle name, the post office was kicking it back to the sender because the mail forwarding for the previous person at my address had expired. The problem was resolved when I contacted my local post office and they deleted the previous person from their mail forwarding data base and I have not had any further problems.

I do not know if Walmart is actively trying to verify every driver still lives where they say they do, but I could see a situation where if mail is getting sent back to them like what happened to me this may set off a red flag.

Why? You know what the rules are, if you are in violation, expect the consequences.
People talk all the time about all our rules and how you'll be fired for the tiniest violation. In my 15+ years, I've found that to be far from the truth. It's a hard job to be fired from.

Don't worry! There is onlying a few things that will get you fired on the spot. Theft, excepting free products from vendors and lying. The 2 that fired for the 250 mile rule they tried working with them. Walmart gave a new hire 90 days, and another was given 180 days to move within 250 mile radius.

I have to go back and do a supplement to my application because of an incident I wasn't aware of being an incident I caused and now afraid walmart may think I lied or purposely left it out. Really hoping this isn't the case
