Typical clutch switch looks like this. Willing to bet that the shop played with the pedal height adjustment or linkages when adjusting the new clutch. Usually the spring touches the top face of the clutch pedal arm.

@wore out and @NorthernMechanic and others.... y'all were spot on. When they adjusted the clutch, they left it so when you let off it entirely, it was stopping short about 2" (that's inches to y'all in Canadia!) short....just enough to not contact the switch.
Thanks fellers! Y'all have rainchecks for a cold beverage or three on me!tarmadilo, wore out and TheDude1969 Thank this. -
Hi!
Just got my truck out of the shop the other day. Just got a new motor. It's a 96 Kenworth W900L with just short of 1.5 million on the clock.
When I got back on the road I noticed that neither the Jake or cruise ctrl is working. They both work if I hold the buttons on.
Any idea, what the issue is?
Thanks in advance.Last edited: Jul 2, 2020

The jake brake will work if I hold the button on the steering wheel in. The cruise will work if I hold the button in. But as soon as the buttons are released, both stop working.
