But would microblue have prevented that engine from failing? I have my doubts.

Another question is:"would it have been better if that truck had never seen the inside off the PP workshop?"

Yes but only because of the operator. Holding pp responsible cause the operator was clueless is ridiculous. A more experienced guy with some understanding of the mechanical workings of an engine will get much better results from pp than an oem engine.

Exactly. It failed mainly due to operate ignorance.

You're right, we don't have the invoice, but both Track That Truck and Kevin's Facebook page attest to the fact that they had the transmission, rear end and engine treated with microblue.

And yet they claim pp didn't install the parts. Obviously a screw up and or communication breakdown happened somewhere. And i just can't accept that bride charged him for this and didn't do the work. My reason for this belief is simple, if it was true in the 2 years its been since, a lawsuit would have been filed.

So what has happened to the truck? Are they still in business?

The whole reason PP tore down a brand new remanufactured motor by Detroit with a warranty was to microblue it.

No other reasoning for the teardiwn.

Jeff may have been Naive but Kevin sold him on the truck build and told him PP were the men to handle it.

I'm sure they never mentioned that the truck had to be driven differently other than that they recommended he keep the RPMs lower in between shifts because that is where he would find the best milage.

As far as a Pyrometer nit being installed , if PP changed the tune of the ECM you think with them knowing the importance of one would have installed it.
Jeff did not sound like he was ever being cheap, he just trusted 2 guys who did not do him well.

Kevin with his hopes and dreams of high milage with unproven theories and Bruce by simply not doing what he was payed to do -- Microblue

The microblue is neither here nor there that the engine failed, that was most likely due to the Evans . Than later improper cooling from the Evans causing corrosion in the block thus insulating it from proper cooling with regular coolant, combined with lugging.

Once again. Who is to say a lawsuit has not been filed.

I bet some money got put back in Jeff's pockets from KR and PP for the non microblue application and that is why you hear nothing more about it.

Whatever happened to the signature truck or the people who bought it? They still in the trucking business? Did they get the bugs worked out of it?
