I appreciate it. It's not that NJ is that bad even with the hassle of the area around Newark which I'm sure I will inevitable reload at. It's just been most of my July. Coming out of NJ going west on I80 across PA is scenic the first trip. After that it's just 300 miles of hills with a heavy load.lol

Speaking of BBQ on my way to plymouth this afternoon stopped and ate lunch at place in Washington NC was pretty good .
Been a good week. Wish all the customers were like this week. I was leaving them no more than 30 minutes after my appt times. All but one took me early and that was a open delivery, only took 45 minutes and they gave me some free soda. All the customers treated me well too. After I deliver Monday 3300 miles for the week.Pigbacon Thanks this. -

So, loading/unloading early.
I stopped bothering a while back after about the fifth time I checked in early and STILL didn't get loaded/unloaded til after my appointment time.
I would love to get unloaded/loaded early, and God knows I could get unloaded a day early on most of my loads, but if I have to choose between sitting on a dock for 12 hours or sleeping in a truck stop for 12 hours, well...DUH.
A few places are great. And THOSE I check into early. The rest, I show up an hour early and STILL wait two hours or so on average, or more. Any tips? -
