Yeah, Landstar seems to make it much easier cost wise getting on your feet as an O/O.. I realize I've got to put money on the side to operate, but I'm a little surprised your maintenace costs thousands per month!?

You should do just fine! Stay out for 3 to 5 weeks at a time. At least with Landstar your not getting totally screwed by a broker keeping as much as they can. Stay East of the Mississippi. OH/PA down to SC/NC and back again. When you get sick of it take a trip out to Washington State to clear your head then take it up the ### getting back to OH.
Yoyoredrum, CasanovaCruiser and Rattlehead808 Thank this. -

Landstar agents like chubby wife's and they are proud of it. So, when calling an agent say something like, I hear your wife is a real porker. That will make them feel really good and will probably give you more money then advertised.

These new semi trucks are $150,000+
You could get a used one for a lot less but maintenance costs could be a killer.
I won't get into the new vs used truck debate lol.Rattlehead808 Thanks this. -
