I run out of a different DC but I've been here since Feb.

 

Road test, pre-trip trip, and backing test total about 3 hrs. Then you go for your physical and drug screen. If you have a bmi of over 30 or a neck bigger then 18 in you will need a sleep apnea test, or big your info if already tested.

 

Thank u for ur help, I will look in too getting a letter from corporate to verify that it was unpreventable.

Ultimately it is your call but they of course want the loads to get there on time. GTM out of Red Bluff likes you to chain up I wouldn't say pushy but doesn't want you sitting there all day either. I haven't had any issues with anyone being pushy to chain up.

 

Completed orientation at Walmart.

Will be going out with a mentor starting Wednesday.

The more I learn about driving for Walmart the better it gets.

 

Lol yeah going up to Bend OR in winter is always fun. Ice road truckin' for sure. Not that many drivers transfer from here. They have a lot of older drivers here and have had recent retirements. I believe they r trying to hire 3-5 more guys and that's it to bring number up to 210. Something like that. You'll like it here. Good luck.
