Misread my elog. Thought I'd have time to get to Richmond today. Nope. 6 hrs today, 4 tomorrow. So, called Victor and told him that I'd still make the drop on time, but I'll have to split it up for today and tomorrow. So, I'll get rolling earlier in the morning so I can be off duty by 7am. That way, I'll have a fresh 70 at 5am Wednesday. I'll touch base with him tomorrow afternoon to get a load assignment so I can depart as soon as my 34 is up.

    (Points at forehead) Kidneys. :glasses7:

Well, it would seem John and I will be parting ways today. Just got word they're working us to Charelston SW VA for me to pick up my truck. Apparently #1425 and I have no idea what shape its in. Plus all my stuff is in my car at the Richmond terminal. Welp, welcome to trucking. :D

Recovering a truck from the road, is never a good thing in my experience.

I didn't want to use the abandoned word but that's our guess at this point. That's ok, if she needs a little TLC, I'm just the cat to give it to her. ;)

My first solo truck was a pick up from a Kenworth dealer in Pharr, Tx. Service manager told me that they had to install a new differential, as the last one failed horribly. It wasn't a bad truck, 240k miles. Interior was in good shape. 2015 model. But...

She developed transmission problems. Got issued her sister truck, the one I am in now. Oil leak is this one's issue. I just can't bring myself to let the Richmond mechanics touch it again. As, they caused the original oil leak.

Best advice I can give you is Fabreeze and Clorox wipes. Simple Green is another great all purpose cleaner. I the truck was abandoned, then ask to bring it straight back to Richmond to have it detailed.

    Just my 2cents.

I don't think they'll detail a truck once it's been issued, but if someone higher up explains it was recovered they might...I still doubt it. I picked up a truck from a Volvo dealer one time and let's just say, if I had a dog, I wouldn't have let my dog live in it. So much trash, you couldn't see the passenger side floorboard. Numerous piss bottles rolling around and bills all over the place. I was glad to get out of that truck and take a shower as soon as I dropped it back off. I hope you don't have to go thru that. If so, call your local doctor and get your tetanus shot

If y'all saw the truck I got from W&S, all I can say is been there, done that. Couldn't even be run let alone lived in. I took it from please junk it to I'll buy it in 21 months. :)

    The mechanics loved me! :D

Life is a challange folks. Dig in!! ;)

If they don't want to, just talk to Bill. He will give approval to have it done for you.
