How to tell your co driver he has sleep apnea

My wife says i stop breathing while sleeping also. But she ends up feeling guilty and takes her pillow off my face.

 

CPAP is an amazing thing. I thought it was a joke myself. I had big neck and overweight and did snore. I had chance to get tested for free. So I went thinking they would come up saying I had minimum sleep apnea just so they could put me on CPAP or maybe I would not need it but I was snoring and waking up.
I had sever sleep apnea so they said. They count sleep apnea by events per hour of not breathing. I had 97 and an event has tto be 10 seconds long to count. So I stopped breathing 970 seconds per hour or 16 minutes. I did not believe that. The first time i tried CPAP I could tell a big difference.

Sleep apnea will mess up your body because your brain never goes into REM sleep because you brain is working all night trying to save your life. I was having crazy dreams like I was dieing in dream but would wake up just before and would be sweating from the dreams. They claim that from you brain pumping adrenaline into you body when sleeping trying to wake you up and save your life because your chocking and not breathing. So you wake up feeling tired because your brain and body have been going crazy all night. Now on CPAP I don't have the crazy dreams and my numbers are down to 0.3 events per hour, 4 or less is normal for everyone. So my 97 before CPAP was way high and I never thought I had it.

 

If the co-driver is only with you for a week, leave him alone. When he went for his physical, that was probably all taken care of over there. After the week is up, you will not have to listen to his snoring again.

I know pulling a Box trailer isn't Labor intensive- So you Gotta find other ways to Burn the flame...Can you guys Unload your trailers for exercise?

 

I voluntarily got tested because go tired of the kiddos complaining about me snoring all the time

 

WOW I was at 65, I use a Bi-Pap machine, I have noticed better sleep and wife says I am not as restless, but the EXTRA Oxygen seems to have INCREASED the visuals I get at night (well technically during the day since I'm a 3rd shifter)from PTSD. So it's a trade off the PTSD Flashbacks are MORE INTENSE then before, but when I don't have them I sleep better....
