So true. When I was in the city waiting to transfer to linehaul, most of our city guys were saying stuff to me like "you're gonna die young" and "you'll hate it" or "I don't know why anyone would want to run nights". And all our road guys kept telling me "you're gonna love it" and "it's way less work for way more money" etc.

To each his own.

One of the funniest things a senior city driver said to me was "I'd sure like to make that kind of money, but I just don't like to drive"!

 

Dayton doesn't pull doubles do they, I only see long boxes. That's up and down 75 in MI.

 

I don't think I've ever seen Dayton pulling doubles either.

 

well hell yeah. everyone wants the money, but few will actually do the job. there's a shocker...
