Had a load to memphis that was 30 min late because of trl repairs at West memphis...sni said cust was OK just go on in...show up and the guard looks at paperwork and says nope not today...I stated to him that sni was in contact with this facility...he said don't care...mind you this place is on Thomas st in the hood where previous sni drivers have been robbed...he tells me to go park in open lot elsewhere and I'm like whatever..I pull off to the side and call in...after several minutes he comes up to my truck and starts running his mouth I ignore him show him I'm on the phone..
The next thing out of his mouth to the cascade employee is this.."I'm going to rip him out of that truck in a minute"...I proceeded to roll my window down and ask him if he has a problem...then he starts running his mouth more and then proceeds to start removing his weapon from his holster...let's just say sni was notified of this and his name in all and was not pleased...first time ever there and my last... -

US Foods in Pittston, PA SUCKS. I was here for 4 hours and 15 minutes before I even got a door. All the while watching trucks come in and out. I just got a door and it took a solid 10 minutes just to back into with no vertical swing space. Who knows how long it will take them to unload the 9 pallets I have. I'll be in shock if they get it done in less than 3 hours. The 2nd stop on the trailer will have to be relayed now making it 4 days late. The final delivery driver will be the 3rd driver to touch this load. 2 relays from Oh to PA. Logistics at its best.
I've seen two preventables since I've been here. Both were drivers pulling out of the docks. Ive spent the majority of my time here playing traffic cop. I measured and it's 20.5 ft. From my bumper to the wall that's been previously scraped to hell. They must have to paint this thing annually. "Don't worry about leaving your bumper on the pavement, just be sure to chock your wheels." Places like this need to be demolished. Maybe the millions of pounds worth of LPG sitting 30 feet away will take care of that someday. Hopefully I'm unloaded and gone first. Oh yea, and just in case you forgot, you're in PA driver. Go sit in your truck and roast like a pig. I'm gonna have to call SEM and tell them my Tripac isn't working.
