Hey I use to reside in that city as well. I am so grateful to leave that place. Born, and raised in Elizabeth. Got married and moved my family, and myself out of that hell hole. Stay safe driver.

Does anyone have a scouting report on GSF Garner NC
-
I grew up in Morristown NJSherm117 Thanks this. -
Well, at the risk of invoking "Beetlejuice", just had some SSB luck. After 2 hours at Mission, they come out to tell me I'm only 1/2 loaded and the rest of the product won't be here until 2-3 hours from now. With my hours, I can't make my appointment in Springfield, OH tomorrow, so I called & let Jeremy know. He says no biggie...just email him an ETA & he'll get with the receiver in the morning. My fat*** is starving by now, so I figure I'll drop the trailer & run down the street to Wilbur's BBQ. Oh no, no, no...can't leave the trailer here per Mission. Bologna sameech here I come (and this day started out so promising..). Guess I can dream about that steak that's in my future with the coming detention, as @Winnyf1 likes to say.

I have done that Pittston to Garner load. It's tortillas for Mcd's wraps....
And to be fair.... That's 2 days on that load... With bookend layover lol
It's just one of those loads you have to park somewhere else and drive in to deliver. Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill sucks for parking -
You have several options there at Mission. Couple Walmarts real close, a small truck stop and you can always turn left off the street their drive is on and park way down at the end.(turn right out of driveway, left at stop sign.) There is a cul de sac. Real quiet unless the Airforce is practicing touch and gos.... Forgot to mention that to SSB one time....txtodd Thanks this. -

A little hint... When leaving... Take 70w to 795n to 264w to 64w to 540 to get past Raleigh. It's only a few miles longer and much less hassle with the construction and traffic in Raleigh...no lights either like on 70w all the way to Raleigh...WalterSobchak and txtodd Thank this. -
Don't think it will hurt me this time about not being able to park there since I deliver at 1300 on a Sunday. Probably won't reload till M8nday.
