I recommend you buy 1 month only and try. I think you got lucky your first try. I found most of the time it was not any better then the regular crap wifi but occasionally would be slightly better.

I did it when pilot have has promotion to give 500 points (aka 5$) , to sing up.
Almost every time you fuel, eat and use your card , they will send survey questions to your E-mail with free 100 points after you will answer , so far I am getting extra 500 points a week just for respons .EZ 5 buks :)

PFJ somehow put me in a sweet promo deal during May where I was getting 10 points per gallon. Before I knew it I had like 90 bucks on my rewards card after like $13-15 per fuel stop. Then when June rolled around it went back to the crappy 1 point per gallon.

Loves I know has a much more generous point/reward system but I was told PFJ gives the best discount for us so I fuel there mostly. I also like the Shower Power promo since I generally shower every night before bed but don't always need or want to buy 50 gallons at the end of the day.

Lately my rewards card is not working when I fuel up.
I started going in and getting my receipt, half the time I have to have the cashier put the points on.
I even got a new card and it still messes up

My company doesn't care where we fuel they have preferences but we have an EFS application that you can use to find cheapest fuel stop nearest you or on your route. It gives real time prices for efs customers which can be as much as 35-40 cents per gallon off signage prices. Which is lower than any mom and pop truck stop by far.

With that being said Loves is typically 1-2 cents per gallon cheaper than other chains in competing markets. Makes fueling at loves and 4x points easy choice but still end up over 500 gallons per month at pilot to maintain their shower power. image.png
Blue dot is me green dot cheapest source. Red dots all places where EFS cards are accepted.

Man after fueling well about 1800 gallons with pilot a month since I've been here, I've only got about $110 in points. Free money is free money, but we all know loves has the best fuel policy no question!

My company loves pilot. It's the only choice I have 99% of the time and the remainder is a kwik trip when there's no pilot around.

Shower power is nice. But love's gave me platinum for July and it was pretty great to get free coffee every day.

One thing that might still be broken is their wifi purchase option. I went to buy a year of wifi with points (only had $15 in there but figured I'd get that off and pay the remainder) and it zeroed out my points but didn't put them in the negative. So... A year of crappy wifi for $15 :)

As big as pilot is you'd think the Wi-Fi would be Grade A. I don't wanna hear that "well everybody is on it!" Pilot is literally everywhere you go. No reason the Wi-Fi isn't grade A lol

The WiFi is grade A now they upgraded it and I've used it as well. It's just as fast as my comcast Internet at the house.

Every once in a while the wifi speed is the same as my regular cell network speed. Most of the time it's worse and sometimes much worse. One place I've managed to get great wifi has been petro. But, as bad as it is, it's still better than nothing.
