Oh so good... NY Strip (medium), baked potato(softball sized) and broccoli (to make it a healthy meal)

Tonight's experience is in Troutdale, Oregon, near Portland.
Summoned an Uber to originally take me to a Chinese restaurant. After speaking with the driver about my longing desire for great food and atmosphere, he reccomends I go to a different restaurant, Tad's Chicken N Dumplings.
What a GREAT reccomendation!
The restaurant is located on the Sandy River just a stones throw out of town. It is also in close proximity to Lewis & Clark State Park. The river and scenery make for a very relaxing meal.
Upon arrival it was obvious I was in for a treat. The parking lot in front and the parking lot across the street were full.
The restaurant is also secluded and surrounded by nothing but nature!
The inside of the restaurant was also as relaxing as the outside.
They have several different options for seating. Inside the main room with windows, inside a bar area with windows,
or out on a deck with windows that swing open like doors. I'll take option 3 please.
Menu offerings are Chicken and Dumplings (of course,) salads, steak, seafood, and desserts.
Bring your wallet if you come. An entree of chicken & Dumplings is around $17. I believe the most expensive steak was a little less than $25.

I chose the New York Strip with a side of dumpling, and a salad.
Even the bread comes with artery clogging REAL butter! NICE!!
Steak came out cooked perfectly to order. Had a nice buttery garlic taste. It's nice to be able to eat a great steak and not have to drown it in steak sauce!
The dumpling reminded me of my grandmother's Dumplings. Light,
fluffy, and wonderful taste!
Again I passed on dessert, but they looked wonderful.
If you're ever in the area, Tad's is a definite MUST!
