Yes it's that bad. Just because a load pays good doesn't make it a good load. Like for instance it's going into a Schneider blackhole. This just one of the many nuances of the board that you'll have to figure out.
You have national good an bad markets and lanes and with in that you have Schneiders.

It will most likely take you several months to to get a good feel of where to, not to go when its best to hold up an wait ect. Especially right now with capacity.
If you are allready incredibly good at load an trip planning and able to recognize the trends on the the board you might be able to weather the storm. Its not point, click an go anymore.

I agree but you have to smart. The loads are there but seems like less drop and hook. I will give some for D\H vs live load. I also won't pick up and drop at some places. When I book and see what it is I just call in ....no issues taking it off but I do book at least 3 to 4 days ahead

I am very good at trip planning as a company driver, but have no experience picking off of a load board.
I'm in a pretty good freight area in general(NE PA), but again, no experience using a load board.
I am looking to run pretty much regional, and pay myself $1200/wk as a W2 employee, with any additional income after settlements going straight to my LLC. After I learn the board and how Schneiders lanes are, I am hoping to get home on the weekends to see my kids, understanding fully well that this is trucking and things do happen. If that is achievable, I'd be happy.

Not sure it's worth changing carriers over. I haven't found one that has a program I like better.

Payments on jist about everything are 965-1000 weekly, before insurance and fuel.

Everything that was listed for zero down was a 16, except for the 1 2017, which is in fact available for a 1 year...with 4000 down.

Which would pay 4000 down to lease a truck for one year I'm not sure...but that's the deal.

All I know about the 17 is that it's a brand new, with a manual, and a tripac Evo, and it's in Phoenix, and I'm not sure how I'd get there to pick it up.

I didn't ask about a buyout, as I figured that was cart WAY before the horse...

I've never asked myself but someone had posted that you get your deposit back at the end of your lease.
