Again, I really don't know nor want to speculate. My credit is good not great, I do have a better than average financial situation and some 20 years of experience, along with a perfect driving record and csa score. Beyond that who knows. I do know that they seem to place alot of weight on your interview with that business management company that interviews you about your business plan.

Like I said I will gladly show you what I got so long as it doesn't affect my yet to be signed deal. I am not here to show off and play games or be an internet hero, just want o gather as much quality information as possible to make that learning curve a little less steep.

When it comes to SFI how come they don't care much about credit scores and say so themselves?

What i think you're missing is that SFI is NOT like a bank that gives out loans.
In that case yes credit scores are important.
    SFI it's not.

SFI understands good decisions with credit does not automatically equate to good decisions in running a load board and self dispatch.
That's why people with terrible credit still pay the same down payment here as those with great credit.
Credit isn't a big deal when it comes to SFI.

I don't think they have a one size fits all policy..I think it's more towards the individual more than anything...

As long you stay out of WV, the truck should last till you pay it off. ;)

It is very simple why they don't care about credit scores, their main target isn't high credit score customers, you say SFI doesn't think a good credit score means that folks make good decisions, that's not . their target. You either mass completely what I am saying or choose to ignore it. I am not commenting one bit on what SFI cares about credit, I am replying to your comment that credit has nothing to do with decisions on running a truck. Bad credit means bad money decisions, bad money decisions will result in runningva truck business badly. There is a correlation, business failures are due to bad decisions. The good thing is you can learn to make better decisions

Do you personally know of anybody that on their first lease got a brand new truck with an APU for zero down?

I personally don't. I had the crappy apu on my new truck & I had to put $1000 down which will double at the end of my lease. I can then take that $2k & get my next truck with no down or roll that $2 over into the new lease & it will double again.
