I was told just today by Bentonville that it's 1st come, 1st serve in means of processing apps. The quicker you apply, the better your chances. You really need to follow the job openings frequently to stay on top of it. You will see your status change to "application accepted" then expect a call. I still have an application from January that says under consideration. After that one I applied same day to two others and got the call on both. When the job is no longer posted, start looking for a status change. I believe the guy that started this thread only had 3 yrs experience when he applied, go back and read, but I think it was. Forgive me if I'm wrong.

    drozzer69 and Emyclark84 Thank this.

Yes you couple and uncouple. You'll do the pre trip on tractor and hook up and do the trailer

How did it go? What was the schedule? Did you have to go off site to their doctor for the physical etc?

All good info. But you need to check with your DC as to how they handle the program. Our DC, once you are on the 6/3, you stay on it, you do not bid every 6 months at realignment. Each DC may handle this differently. Check with the GTM or any member of management before you make any final decision.
When I started, over 15 years ago, you had the choice of 5 1/2 on and 1 1/2 off. That's all. It's a money maker for sure, but not enough home time.

Yes, you'll need to hook and unhook. I had to pretrip the tractor and trailer, then (if you pass that part) hook trailer for backing test and (if you pass THAT), the road test. No no biggie though, just relax, but the pretrip is THOROUGH, much more detailed than the CDL version. Just know your stuff. You don't need to know what every part is, but you need to point out everything and let him know you are looking at and are seeing every inch of the truck. Good luck. You'll be fine.

Please go easy on me as I'm trying to figure out brassring. When you upload your resume and cover letter to the "Resume/CV Manager" section is that visible to HR or is that just an area to save these documents? I'm asking because in that section under the History heading I click View Submissions and it states "this resume has not been submitted to any jobs".
Or should the resume and cover letter be uploaded to the "Edit your Profile" section, attachments tab, then under the Category heading use the pull down option showing- supporting documents?
