Strange... Probably a substitute thst is covered.

My wife hits thst a lot with some of her arthritis medications... Only certain things she can take and those are the expensive ones.

    Good Luck getting a substitute.

Its the federal DOT rules and reg, Abilene has to follow them. All DOT governed operations are being hit with sleep studies for drivers with cdls. If your over weight by dot's ideal weight and height scale or neck size is over 17 inches. The next time you get a physical, you'll be forced to get a sleep study test preformed and (the scam part) more then likely you'll get stuck with a cpap machine! Its not the companies fault, blame the over bearing federal government! If you want to keep your CDL, its another hoop to jump through to keep your license!!!

One is normally under either a load or an empty over home time... That way you don't need to go get a trailer before getting the wheels rolling.

Start looking for truck stops and other truck friendly parking in your area or close to your area.

When home for a night or two I park at a local shopping area where a couple stores have closed... No one is parking there to "shop" and so far no one has said its a problem, but of course getting permission to park on a regular basis is best.

I have heard that a special interest groups with financial ties to sleep apnea medical equipment were pushing for cut throat laws regarding sleep apnea. This is bad news for the industry.

A sleep apnea test checks to see if your getting "quality sleep". They wire you up and put a camera and microphone on you. They observe you sleeping over a two night period. Its pretty uncomfortable and good luck getting through the test without being woken up a bunch of times!!!

Its another way for the federal government to weed out older drivers! You know that medical equipment companies where lobbying for it to happen! Freaking CPAP machines cost over $1000.00!!!
