Don’t work for j.b. Hunt

Well doubledragon5 you haven’t been driving that long to get the most important thing out of driving a truck and that is respect after 26 years of driving and working for alot of companies some good some bad but one thing I got from everyone that I ever worked for is respect. When something like this happens to you and (I hope it never happens to anybody) and you are left in the hospital 300 miles away from home and left to find your own way home and nobody from your company calls you to make sure your are ok the you will see how it feels. I will do my best to make people know about J B Hunt and if they go with them well they will find out the same way I did. TERRY

When I leave a company I know I can go back and I have been hurt at other companies and my Transportation Manager was there 10 hours later to make sure I had everything I needed but it sounds like you are in the office personal department because you talk like one and if something like this would ever happens to you and (I hope it never happens to you or to anybody) and you are left in the hospital 300 miles away from home and left to find your own way home and nobody from your company calls you to make sure your are ok. Then you will get a taste of how it feels. So I’m not asking for a card but I do think they should have called to see how how I’m doing, and they do have to get me back to the town or city I live in by law and If they don’t then it is called abandonment and that will cost them and I will do my best to let people know about how J B Hunt really is. And if they go with them well they will find out the same way I did.


And to Mgassel you need to sit down and read about the personal Injury laws on Worker’s Comp, if your job causes your personal Injury the company has to pay. And seizure is and can be caused by your work.


And to doubledragon5 I am truly sorry about the mix up I have been out of the hospital for two days and I’m still out of it I’m very sorry.
And my surgery went ok my recovery is going to be about 6 to 7 weeks I had 3 disks fused together they were C5-C6 & C6-C7 AND THANKS TO EVERYONE THAT WISHED ME WELL

 

If you ever had a seizure before there is no way to hide it your DR. has to turn that in to your state DOT that is DOT rules and it states that you can never drive again or carry a CDL that's what my Dr. did and I got that letter saying to bring in my cdl and that's it no hiding it.
So there is no way to hide it and it has been proven the it was a seizure due to work conditions that’s all the have to prove is what caused it the seizure it could have been caused by stress, stroke, head injury, and all they have to show what part of your work caused it. Truck Drivers meet's all the sign's of stress no sleep, poor eating habits. And long hours of working, and stress with other people's safety. So driving is the easy thing to prove stress .
