I agree completely, radioshark. However, the place where we are delivering in Aberdeen will unload early. I don't know how often that will happen, or if it will continue, but it has happened to me twice.

On the bright side of the product we are hauling to Aberdeen, Magnum's quota is something like 1,784,000 pounds. Over the past few months, Magnum has moved a good portion of that amount. So, it's not like that run is going to last forever

Show up at coca cola, Niles, IL for 09:00 pick up. Load canceled. A lot of pisssed off right now. Got this load at 10:00 yesterday and no one let me know. Running on recaps to boot. Could of stayed at the truck stop and got a 34 in. more pissed now. Yeah I know, it's trucking.

 

Yea, that place is the pits. Happened to me one time too, after waiting in the street for 3 hours.... Not dispatches fault...

Sooo, after 12 weeks out its time to go home, the problem with living in Southern IN is the getting me home part. Picked up a lid in Walcott IA for Fargo and ended up stopping in the CR yard last night to see what Dispatch could come up with.

Will be in Fargo tonight, heading to Jamestown in the morning to grab a load to bring back to the yard before picking up a load headed to Chicago for Tuesday...by then they'll have a plan to get me home for late Wed early Thurs...

Taking the kid to college so I'll need to get back on the road to cover all of the checks we'll be writing lol

 

Now I am waiting on a call from Ashley. Apparently we have a driver Mia down here in Chicago. Will wait till 17:00 then dead head to Park Rapids if they can't get the driver to respond.

 

"Management" knows where the equipment is located, but the driver is MIA...
