You continued to stick up for BBB when it's been proved he stiffed upstanding members of this site.
Chacter or lack thereof? I'm not so sure. I guess we all have a different definition of character.

I'll side with honest people every time not crooks.

I see this company on FB all the time . Can't figure out why I'd give them 20% to book loads

You'd need to be booking your own to learn or see any real potential. And for the same reasons people lease on at any company. I quit them 3 months ago and haven't pulled or posted my 53' van in almost a month now but I still get 2 or 3 calls a week looking for "Farm2Fleet dry van around such and such area". Even though it was mismanaged the drivers always did a stand up job and people sought the trucks out to load them up.

I just had a long conversation was someone that F2f today came online to do a little research since I heard the company was bought buy Max trans and lo and I read about all this negative stuff that happened made me slam my brakes on real quick perhaps things will change now that there are new owners as I really do like this business model

It's not really anything unique to them. Lots of companies out here allow o/o to run under their numbers like that. They just happen to be advertising all over social media about it.

Ya, that business model has been around long before their was social media, or even the internet as we know it today. However ya gotta give him credit for using those things to his advantage. That was smart. Got to give credit where credit is due, and he definately leveraged those tools more and better than any one prior.

True. And to be fair it was a good company. I'd still be there if not for the financial issues. I think most of the former drivers from there would agree with that too. The excuses wore thin and soured friendships was all. Drivers put up with a lot of BS out here in general. They will tolerate some BS with a decent company too but when you mess with their money that's it.

It seems to have been like a good steak, tastes great, but in the end turns to crap. To be bluntly honest, he did no different than any other con man. He used things to his advantage, could have easily been different, as with bad deal. Plenty of folks have done it the right way. I don't know if this screw job deserves credit, you are judged by how things turned out, not what they start as.
