waste of bandwidth for me to comment on it any more. What happened happened and was a bad deal for a lot of people.Last edited: Aug 15, 2016
RedBeard, pearcetrucking, 7-UP and 5 others Thank this. -
Con man is a shortening of confidence man, someone who gains peoples trust and confidence, and then screws them over, I think it applies. Con man isn't a former convict

BBB is laughing at this thread. He doesn't have to come here to explain himself. You have people on here doing it for him.
Hammer166 and skateboardman Thank this. -
If anyone takes the time to go back through and read, what they'll find is that a transportation business owner who had authority leased drivers on under that authority....
When this business owner ran into financial trouble he chose to be dishonest, both in his business relationships, and with his public image.
He attempted to continue to promote himself, and his supporters came to his defense....
Until his words and actions became indefensible.
Sad.
Worse still...
There apparently are some who to this day are owed money.
BBB is silent these days.
That silence speaks volumes....Lone Ranger 13 Thanks this. -
It's time to hijack this thread-
After feeling the slight pinch of late payments in January, I left and weighed my options-
Go full authority(I did apply)
Lease on somewhere else.
Leave industry
Go hiking
All were on the plate-
After seeing the total costs of full independent- and the cost of the trailer(I even considered a brand new Fitz glider and great dane dry van-all in with FET $198k.), I decided that I would look at a new direction-
I sold my Volvo (seller financed) to a former f2f'er- went hiking, then came back in June to start looking to work again-
That's when I saw the press release from OttoMotto- they were actually hiring drivers to test out the platform.
So I wrote up a resume- the first in 15 years for me. lo and behold they called me back- less than a month later, I was interviewing and planning a move to san Francisco-
Hired on last week- and have been loving the direction this path has put me on- It's very relaxed in relation to traditional OTR work, but a serious atmosphere. The team is growing and it's so exciting working with some seriously crazy smart people.
They are looking for other drivers as the plans are moving forward rapidly. I've already been selected to head east to demo a lane in Illinois this weekend. Fly then drive.
If your interested I would definitely say get to their website and check it out.Lone Ranger 13, not4hire and albert l Thank this. -
I've read this entire thread.
Just wow.
Is this the same company that is spamming facebook?
I guess my question(s) would be if it is, and they seem to be up and running, off and running, if they are solvent as they make it appear, why would they not pay any monies owed to O/O that pulled for them?Lone Ranger 13 and pearcetrucking Thank this. -
