That was almost 2 years ago. It was a combo of the office trying to tell me what to do and control me, and they refused to give me a raise plus I was tired of 3 weeks on, 1 week off. This place I'm at now ive been stuck on 7 axle or less because I was lowest in senority.

You're relatively young aren't you? Mind if I ask how old?

Geez,I got hairs on my arse older then you. Lol.

It's great to see young guys like you doing the HH gig.
It's good to know the industry will have some good capable guys to carry the torch when us old guys retire in a few years.

Yea the old guys have been bugging the office at my work to hire younger guys so they can pass there knowledge on before they retire. I'm the youngest at my work by 6 years.

That's how I got my start. I was the fall off guy. Then the older guys told the office to give me a chance

Pretty slow because of the oil situation. I've sat at home for days but I've gotta pretty good at saving lol. When I do work I make good money though. They hired me because I had the basics that were self taught. Old company gave me a rented 10 axle and said figure it out. I did all my own permitting and such. Figured out the tri drive winch truck they bought too lol

Me to, the company I worked for would send me out to haul the tracks which where the last to come off so you where there to the end. He would always tell me to stay and help and run with the machine. After a while the moved me up to the machines. I didn't realize it at the time but they were grooming me for that. He told me that when I turned in my notice. I learned a lot from those loads.
