The complaining about the mileages posted on the board are a bad argument. Personally, I think they need to take the estimated rate per mile numbers off the board completely, and just list the total pay and the practical deadhead and loaded miles. Let the driver use a calculator and figure out the rate per mile.

I'd rather know the total revenue and the total actual miles I can do quick math in my head to know if I'll take it.

Yep, I know now for a fact that this happens out of TSC in Casa Grande, which just leads to the obvious that it goes on throughout the system. Those folks there hold back the short loads due to the high RPM, and will not release them to the IC's unless it looks like they won't have enough company trucks to run them.

You would think Schneider taking 35% from us would be a "good" business model for them. But it's nickel and dime us to death. I bet when all is said and done its closer to 40 to 42 percent. I know this I always try to do the right thing for them, pulling a flat on a trailer to get fix vs road call, being on time every time, move a trailer for a customer, dress for success, keep my rig clean and in top working order...I could go on and on....what does it get me from Schneider?

I get a little more aggravated all the time about the little changes that continue to pop up here. I think some of those changes are specific to the ICA I am under, but still. Just this past week, got a message stating that we must call our ICR and do a two way call anytime we book a TSC load now in order to acknowledge on time pickup and delivery. Failure to make the call will result in load being pulled. Phone calls like this take time, time that I am not being payed for, and they are calls that should not have to be made. The way I see it, you might as well be taking money away from me when you require me to do work related tasks like this that take up my time.

Lots of these types of aggravations that didn't exist when I came here back in 2013.

It's not growing pains, Schneider is shrinking it's support shaft for IC's.

It's called total control they don't recognize us as "partners" they see us as employees who pay for a job and they treat us as such.

The ICA's act just like DBL's.

Basically what I do anyway. I verify the miles with Google maps, then calculate the rate.

I have to disagree with you here. They don't want their phones tied up as much as you don't want to call them.

This is because retard company/ic drivers have been late so many times we are in danger of losing the account.
