I honestly wouldn't get anything new unless it had a DD15, but the cam issues have had least been worked out with the newer ISX.

Save yourself a headache. Go with new or near new with most or all of the warranty. It looks like they have some Volvo and Freightliner repos available and you get a near new truck.

I bought a new Cascadia, not an Evolution, with their Lone Mountain package and 13 speed. I have had one def related repair under warranty and a couple minor warranty repairs. I've had it since June of last year and it currently has 117k on it. Couldn't be happier.

Btw, don't be afraid of the D13. I had one a couple years ago and it ran great. The dd15 will out pull it on grades, but it's still an excellent motor.

It looks like I'm going to be going with SFI and Choice...they just have a better freight base for where I live that will allow me to schedule hometime a little more efficiently. I'm going with a 1 year on a Cascadia and then want to go with a LM spec Cascadia myself. I'd go right to Lone Mountain, but 12.5k is over my budget for a down payment lol

I liked the D13 and LOVED that iShift! Only thing I didn't like was the weak Jake brake.

The D13 didn't have a Jake brake as you know it. It uses an a different style engine brake. Although I didn't have any issues, it didn't seem quite as strong.
