Lol...I would NEVER lease on there under dispatch!! If they let you operate off of a board, however, I would consider it. Heard they are starting a program picking freight off of a board similar to Choice and Freedom.

 

Celadon does indeed have a load board similar to Schneider....

As in all things in life there's some good and there's some bad....

Good - guaranteed minimum $1.25 rate no matter what area you run to. Their rates and freight look similar to Schneider...

Bad - You pay tolls...

Bad - No more than 3 loads on you at any time....

Someone on this forum is about to make the switch.... No it's not me....

Everything but the week of lost revenue and relay charge (if any) for the trailer.....

 

A week? Wtf. Unless you gotta tear an engine down nothing else on the truck can't be done in a day. Heck you can replace the transmission in one day.

 

At a dealership with a new truck it usually goes like this....

Shop is full 2 days to get in the door.... Then they don't have the part in stock another day lost. Then a day to put it back together.... 4 days lost but your repair is covered...
