Getting ready to jump in the shower here in Barstow. 80 miles to our destination.

Drove from western NM to Barstow. Stopped in Williams for a 30 and temp was 54... Barstow is currently 94.

Going to have to "rig" this sideskirt on my tractor. It's loose at the top and flaps in the wind. Looks a mess. Seems they'd come up with a better design. Oh well, guess I'll just flap on down the road.

Duct tape and bubble gum. They may hire you as a tech.

I don't know how to fix it. It looks bad though flapping in the wind and when I get fuel I have to look at it. You know how it is. 24/7 operation for the drivers but only a 40 hour week for dispatch/mechanics.

Do you guys run up to Wisconsin much? Is it part of Abilene's hiring area?

I live off I90 near Madison, is that an ideal spot for hometime?

We're up there plenty. Pick up for one of our major customers up there.

True! Not sure what they'll have me do since home time is close and I'm a little short on hours. Although, I've been working my clock pretty good. I've found if I use about 9.5 hrs a day, I can roll without having to worry about needing a 34. Been out since the 16th doing that. Had 1 day of only 4.5 hours which will be coming back tomorrow night, but have 4 in the hole to add to it. And a 5800 mile pay period on top of that. So, not too shabby. Would've been 6000, but I took the shorter run last weekend so I could go see my friend in Apopka.

Glad you finally got to your meds and hoping nothing major wrong with the wife to keep her home. Sucks to have that happen. Did that myself last year down in TX on a gravel lot. Got a scar on my knee and a bruised ego!

    KD5AXG and Finfn1372 Thank this.
