I've never used the fuel pumps here. Even Reggie had problems with it when showing it to us during orientation. Of course, this is also the first time I've been back in Richmond since I left out a month ago. -

At the yard. Finally. Feels like today took a week to end. Even had a bit of an issue at the rest area in Fredericksburg with some folks from MA parked in the truck side with a pickup. They were not nice. I was not nice. Then a nice state trooper informed them of their mistake. They apologized. I apologized. So, sleeping pill and bed it is for me. Tomorrow WILL be better.

JohnBoy wrote a nice long post on things he does every time. That included sending the load acceptance macro. I did take his post to heart.
The pumps at Richmond are modern 1970's tech. Kinda like my QC, come to think of it. But, no matter what, even identifying my error in alpha entry, I just can't get the pumps to work for me. So, after the 5th attempt, screw it. Like the fifth wheel setting rule, I just don't honor it. I fuel at the Pilot, or just make dang sure I fuel so that I won't have to at the yard. Even if a refer needs fuel, I'll stop out to fill it. (As far as my 5th wheel, it stays in the 5th hole back. (how routine of me!))
I magically appeared at my delivery point a couple of hours ago in Pflugerville. So, alarm set for 0630 Texas time to be bright eyed and bushy tailed for the consignee in the morning. Then, I think we'll magically appear at our preferred stop in this area with a fresh 70. I'm glad I found the warp button on this truck. But, it only works intermittently. No, I won't have the techs look at it.

Can any of you drivers give me the low down on where i would be running on the North East regional account? My application was approved with Abilene, and I live in Rhode Island, but I'm not sure if I want to run up here. Rusty, and Sandra have assured me that I'd get 2,500-3000 miles a week, and home on weekends. I've read quite a few threads, and I'm looking forward to joining the Abilene family. Any advise given, would be greatly appreciated!!!
