Yeah but you'd be trading in drop/hooks for chains and tarps!
    Oh the horror!

Lol. Even from Stockbridge MA to Gary it would be 825 miles. At $7 a mile... Sign me up!

This is one of the small issues I have with the sni system. Point and click, it is what it is, no relationship needed. In four years(although happy) I have built zero relationships that would help me in the future. Sometimes I wonder if I had been with Landstar or Mercer for the last four years if just the contacts and relationships alone would have paid for themselves. Idk. Makes me wonder though.

Believe me, I would be home on my couch and get calls from agents and brokers for loads or if I knew I was going somewhere hot id make a call enroute and have a load before I arrived.. That's based on service and dependability ofcourse...

For the money difference I'd tarp every load.

If you ever planned on getting your authority those contacts would be worth their weight in gold.

I try to stay far ahead or behind those contractors with the beat up trucks going 85 with old wagons that look like they've been immersed in sea water for a few years ha ha

And to see if anyone was paying attention during all the Landstar debate. Well played Whipper.
