I'm writing these because I have a couple questions that I would like answers too.. so I figured what better place than truckers report. I Have been wanting to drive trucks since I was young.. Just recently I achieved that and learned how to drive tractor trailers from my past job I don't have my CDL but I do know how to operate a semi from guys that mentored me. I have contacted CRST ,SRT and US Express and I really want some information from people that have worked for these companies Can you guys give me any information about these companies.. but to my question

1.Does CRST only offer team positions or do they have solo drivers, How Frequent is the Home time and what is the average pay per week and what is the length of the Contract to drive I was told 10 months.

2.For SRT How Frequent is the Home time and what is the average pay per week and how long would u be under contract with them

3.US Express How Frequent is the Home time and what is the average pay per week and how long would u be under contract with them.

I can't answer your questions specific to those companies. But, I can tell you that you're way ahead of the game. You know how to drive but don't have a CDL. See, that's cool because a lot of guys on the road today do have a CDL, but don't know how to drive.

I can't recommend any of the three
Crst is teams and you'll most likely get raped from a trainer
Us express is a slight step up, but very slight
    Not sure of the other
Trust me, your options are better than you know.

Celadon's business model is buying distressed companies. Not sure how that affects their existing driver base, but its not the environment I want to dwell in.

    Rusty Trawler Thanks this.
