    Nope, wasn't even thinking that way.
    Again, never took it as a personal attack. All I was pointing out was the inaccuracy of some of the statements posted regarded Corporation structures and LLC structures.
    As you have stated, this is a public forum and your can state any oppion you feel like. If there is something wrong with the information I gave, please tell me and offer the supporting documentation so I can be informed correctly. I am sure you have spent some time researching websites like the SBA and other small business sites that talk about different business structures in a broad overview, and all of them state you need to seek legal and tax advice to determinee what is correct for your business.

    So back to starting my business.

    So what I did first was incorporate, I posted the company I used and their fee.

    This service provided me with my company's articles of incorporation,

    The FEIN#

    The registered agent (required by Ohio but not by all states)

    Step by step instructions on how to hold your first meeting and legally START your corporation

    As well as any and all documents you will need for your corporation.

    After obtaining my FEIN# the next thing I did was apply for a business checking account. This was done through Capital ONE Spark BUSINESS as they have no fees, minimums or maximum when it comes to deposits, transfers or withdrawals unlike some other banks and they make it very easy to enroll.

    They did however make my life difficult as it appears that whomever was in charge of overseeing the initial account opening was ignorant to certain things.

    I posted the letter I sent and an account was opened within 2 hrs after sending that letter.

    While I was waiting for them I contacted and set in motion my accountant as well as payroll through ADP.

    I chose ATBS for accounting because of doing my own due diligence. I would say that ATBS may not be the right choice for some because of their fees but for me and the filing fees for an S-Corp, their fees are relatively fair.

    I will be spending approximately $400/yr, $7.**/wk or .007 cpm with ATBS to eliminate a headache of having to keep, process and file my own profit/loss statements. I think it's worth it. It may not be for you and especially if you don't have an S Corporation.

    I chose ADP as my payroll service provider not because they are the cheapest but because their are no contracts, they only charge per transaction, no set up fees and they offer what I'M LOOKING FOR when it's time for me to expand.

    They also offer cpm pay which many don't offer.

    Also registered business with state of Ohio for withholding and unemployment taxes

    It's good to see the effort and homework you are putting into making sure you pick what will be right for you. I know we all hate paperwork and would rather pay someone to do it the work for us, but what system do you have in place as a check and balance to make sure the information you are getting from ATBS is correct and they didn't enter bad data?

    Have you researched the basic accounting information you'll need know so you can oversee what they do? Also, P&L's are some of the simplest reports to do yourself and offer the best data to help you grow your business or make decisions on what to do next. Will those P&L's be weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly? I like to run my every week or so, but for sure once a month to see how I am doing. I don't use a CPA firm for my bookkeeping, I use accounting software and enter everything in myself. Mainly because I like to know and understand the basics of accounting so when I eventually had it off to a cpa, I'll have the knowledge to double check there accuracy in the data.

    Why did you choose ATBS compared to doing the bookkeeping yourself with quickbooks or some other accounting software like Profit Gauges or even picking a different cpa all together?

    Does Ohio charge any different or special taxes for a transportation company? My state has certain business taxes that have to be calculated off the gross revenue for transportation companies, that's why I ask. It's amazing how many cpa's and ATBS for that matter are unaware of those taxes.

    Keep up the good and hard work! Setting a solid foundation like this will make it easy for you grow your business in the future.

    I'm bored, still have a lot to do, but I also need a day off lol....

    So I did this instead:

    Good afternoon. I am writing this on behalf of PINOY EXPRESS INTERNATIONAL INC.

    After perusing the lease agreement you forwarded via electronic mail; I find it my obligation, pursuant to section 9 of said lease agreement, to request in writing, permission in writing, to make any modifications to the vehicle specifically referenced in above referenced lease.

    I am requesting specifically the authorization to affix heat activated adhesive vinyl, otherwise known as "vehicle wrap", to above stated vehicle.

    It is my request to affix PINOY EXPRESS INTERNATIONAL INC'S "signage" on both right and left sides as well as upper front roof area of the lease vehicle.

    PINOY EXPRESS INTERNATIONAL INC makes an expressed guarantee as well as will assume any and all personal and legal responsibility in making sure that the signage is appropriate, professional as well as both state and federally compliant per D.O.T. (Department of Transportation) pursuant to FMCSA 390.21.

    PINOY EXPRESS INTERNATIONAL INC also makes an expressed guarantee that no harm shall come to the lease vehicle by affixing said signage but if in fact damage does occur, PINOY EXPRESS INTERNATIONAL INC will be held solely responsible for any and all repairs needed to bring the vehicle back to the quality it was, at delivery, per said lease agreement subsection 9.

    Heat activated adhesive vinyl has been known to protect the vehicles exterior paint from fading, chips and some minor scratches while also being easily removable. I feel that permission in the affirmative would benefit both PINOY EXPRESS INTERNATIONAL INC as well as SFI.

    $199+tx

    Took full use of my privileges as a current company driver and used the company car to drive over and purchased one.

    Also did a professional trucking service and after I returned to the OC, took another IC, in the company car, back to get him one as well.

    They are pretty nice looking, 4G of ram, running Windows 10 so you have 2.5G plus another 2.8G virtual memory to operate with as well as a 500Gig HD.

    Not too bad for a new company laptop for truck use.

    I don't use profit gauges, but @haywire12 does. I use an accounting program called frontaccounting because it's Web based and allows me to access fun anywhere. Another good one is quickbooks. If you use that, find a local accountant to help you set it up properly. Most well charge you a small fee fir a setup and then if you need help, you'll know they can understand the program and help you with accounting needs.
