    So whipper you're teaming now?

What possibly made you go from 1.70 all miles or more to a team board that from discussions average around 1.40 all miles at best?

    workingklasshero and sealevel Thank this.

And this would be how you would go about addressing the elephant in the room. LMAO. Thank you. I have been wondering the same thing.

I hope the decision to team, whatever the reason, works out for you.

I know after 6 weeks or so here what I've always known. Money is not my main motivator.

I was in Maine not long ago, and I'll be north of Seattle in a few. Via south Texas and Vegas.

You just couldn't keep that pace up forever. Besides, your job is done. The program is saturated to the point where referral fees have been ended. :)

If I may be so bold, I have a response for you as well Whipper. It seems fitting. As you tell it, it was a nice run.

    I was doing fine solo...
However i often ponder different ideas wondering if I can do better.
Pulling a Van leased to a carrier there's really no place I could find than I could do better than here.
One day I played around the idea of teaming.. did lots and lots of research into it, got temporary access to the team board and ran some numbers.
Long story short, I can get more productivity out of the truck and on paper I can earn more after paying everything including a driver.
Things sorta all just came together.
So far things are going well.
Plus it's sorta a new adventure for me, it's fun so far mainly because it's different.. a new experience.
While my same ol short runs running the same circles paid me well it gets old and boring after a while.
There's not much info on the team side so I'll be sharing a little bit as time goes on. General aspects of the team side not every aspect of my operation.
I will say this is definitely a steering wheel holder's dream job lol, long runs and mostly drop/hook.

What's with loads not confirming? Trying to get out of OK, and pages and pages of unconfirmed loads that are supposed to pick up in the next 24 hrs. Been noticing this in other markets too in the past month or so.

There isn't enough money for me that would make me run teams.. First I'm a neat freak lol and my truck has to be cleaned at all times and second you never know whats going on in person's head day to day.. people have suppressed issues that you won't know until it's too late... Only way id ever even consider it is if it's with my wife... Other than that nah I'll pass lol
