I got my AZ license September 2014 and after that, I was offered a job driving a garbage truck(straight truck), not exactly what I had in mind but it's a job, but now I want to move on because I feel I'm just wasting my class of license and my money I spent on it and I really want to get experience somewhere. I applied to a few companies and received very little response, I can't cross the border right now, but will be able to later. There are companies that offer Canada only, and those places also had a training program for new drivers, but do those companies still expect you to be able to cross the border as needed? Should I have saved my money and just worked at McDonalds? lol. Super frustrated here. Can someone help?

Yes, what class license? I was assuming you have Class A.

AZ is Ontario specific. The rest of Canada calls it a class 1. My guess is he's in Ontario. Mine is AZ too. A is the class; Z is air brake endorsement not a restriction.

ya, so here in Ontario: Z - Airbrake endorsement. A for trailer and Z for airbrakes. not sure where you are, sounds like it might be slightly different.

There is a section for out of us discussions, might get answers there, or Chinatown may know a few Canadian drivers here that could help
