Had to wait a bit on a transfer between walmarts once myself... The lady behind the pharma counter suggested that we can initiate a transfer within the Walmart App... So if we know ahead of time which Walmart we want to pick up from then it can be waiting there for us.

I thought that would be very helpful for those OTR types that may fill a script from different locations each time.

Well, with proper Pre Trip Planning you should be able to do that... Just drive it a little tighter than normal... Use all your clocks... No stopping for silly things like food or restrooms... Use split clocks... That will help too... And don't forget that teleportation button.

Manual Mode and drop a gear.

I noticed a different between the Jakes on my current 15xx Volvo and the prior 13/14 trucks... Something must have changed but they still do the job for me... But a manual downshift helps a lot too.

Well, with six other big green trucks parked here I guess I'm at the right place for the 6am drop... Night all.

 

Left the Walmart DC in Colton early this morning. We are running pairs with another Abilene team (Tiny and Slim) to West Memphis. It's been a blast! Stopping along the way to eat, CB banter, trucker comraderie so to speak.

Should hit West Memphis tomorrow afternoon.

Trainer Chris said I'll be testing out later this week. (Stage three is next) Not even a week in his truck. He quizzed me on what could be questioned and I answered them all correctly.

Should be a fun week!!

 

@MidWest_MacDaddy - Wish the place wouldn't have been full of cars when I got down here yesterday afternoon! Now I'm 7th (because I only count 6 here and me). This should be fun weaving around cars today. NOT!!!!!

 

Use the smith system lmao!! Seriously, weaving around cars can be stressful sometimes, but it keeps youre driving and backing game in check.
