I found an app called Time Calc. Not sure what the Apple version is called. But I use it frequently for time management.

And.........
Changing trucks AGAIN.
AAAASSRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH -
And now, (as one of my favorites Paul Harvy would say), is the rest of the story. They sit me for 4 hours at that Walmart 17 miles from my LUL only to send me back there to drop the refer, BT to our wilson yard and hook an HP going to Jacksonville for 8am. (You can't make this crap up)
I can't help but wonder how long it was sitting there. Was it before or after I sent a FF at 9am "suggesting" either a hook at our yard or a DH back to Richmond?
The world may never know.
So, 13 hours for 398 miles and it seems I'll be doing a reset in FL. Hmmmm.... I'm thinking bobtails, beaches and bikinis.

What happened? Too much sway in that Volvo? (Just kidding). What happened man?
-
Yeah, drove mine for 3 weeks with many messages and it really did have issues. One of which was a clogged EGR cooler.
-
Maybe you'll get a new one this time?

Apparently, 1510 has had issues. They have to send her back to the dealer. As we are waiting for word on 1510, we see 1542 drive out the gate and parked by the detail guy. We go looking for 10, and can't find it. I go up to the shop window, and Bill is in there. Bill comes out and says, "I'm sorry. 1510 has to go back to the dealer for computer issues. You got f$#ked."
Long story short, we are back in 1542 KW. I can't tell that they did anything to this thing other than it isn't leaking coolant anymore and it's been detailed.
Then, I learned that the weekend dispatchers had lots of loads "with no one to run them." I was available all weekend, but apparently, even though my FM sent an email to the weekend crew that I needed a run, if you don't go to the window and beg like a dog, you will sit all weekend.
That is 7 layers of BS.chralb, DrummingTrucker and Lonesome Thank this. -
I'd raise some holy Hell over that one my friend. Companies will use you if you let em. Not saying that's the case here at all. Just saying you need to make it very clear youre expectations..they do the same to you correct? Don't lay down.

Going to the window and letting someone know you are available is not begging for a load, IMO. Do you know the amount of emails they send-receive each day? A crap ton. If you want a load, you should go to the window even though your fm "said" he sent an email. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. You'll never know. But you are the captain of your ship.Lonesome, KD5AXG, MidWest_MacDaddy and 4 others Thank this.
