Love my VW coal burner! 42 mpg in the city , 50 mpg on the big road, and almost as quick 0 to 60 as anything. International is prime for a takeover. Heck can only be better then what they churn out now.

I just got my first TDI last December, after the scandal broke. I didn't know how big this thing would get. Still love my 2010 Jetta, I'm not gonna give it back.

Everything is still VW on her .
JReding Thanks this. -
My coworker @mmdavidson0128 is still commuting in his 2004 Jetta that he bought new. 300,000+ miles and still going strong.
I have the 2010, and like @jason6541, I've gone aftermarket on my exhaust. Straight pipe all the way out. 60+ mpg highway, and a modest power boost. -

Who would be willing to buy any engine that's called International? It'll take long time and probably lots of money.

I'm a fan of both International and VW....so this works for me.
Not liking the changes their new exec from Peterbilt is making though.....getting rid of all their heritage names, like replacing the Paystar with HX and now the new Prostar is going to be called the LT.
Boy, that's original.
Maybe they can change the Lonestar to an LTL to keep with the Ford theme, LOL.JReding Thanks this. -
