Good morning everyone. Here's another weekly update. Monday evening marked the end of week six. I dont have and exact number, but I was sitting at about 13750 for mileage. After yesterday, I have 900 to go. Hoping to retest this weekend. The examiner made room for me on his schedule, now it's just a matter of dispatch giving us loads that will land me in Wisconsin on Saturday. Fingers crossed.

Yep, all done with orientation. My trainer is Curt Stein. I'll leave out either tomorrow night or Friday I believe. He's going to call me when he's certain as to when he will pick me up.

I'm excited for you! Not that much longer. You'll do great on your retest, and be in your own truck before you know it.

I have a question for you, if you don't mind answering. Your miles averaged per week seem very low to me, from what I've been told one can average if they work hard and smart (Which I have no doubt you will). If my math is correct, your miles averaged out to 2291 miles per week. I'm curious; is that the norm for miles ran for your trainer? I'll never be able to survive on mileage that low. I hope there is a reason for it, other than miles simply not being available.

You got a good trainer. One of the guys i went to school with had Curt and really liked him. Also with Curt you will get miles dont worry lol. My buddy and him were running their ##### off. Another benefit of having Curt is that means when you go solo you will get the best dispatcher Millis has, Opie. He's also my dispatcher and keeps me moving. Good luck stay patient and you will be in your own truck soon.

Awesome!!! I've met Curt a couple of times, and he seems like a great guy. I can't wait to get going. I'll listen, learn, and of course, be safe! Thank you for taking the time to reply. Take care, and be safe out there.

Those are just MY miles. My trainer has miles too. You get paid for ALL miles, yours plus your trainer's.
