I think I stay on Thruway most of the time. where does it start and end?
This looks like another scam like Ks and property tax there even when you don't live there.

I looked this BS over and they are stupid. It's about like paying IFTA even though you're running a toll
road like the ##### turnpike or jersey tp. I am ready for the revolution to begin I want to operate
head removal device. One fee rolled up into one filing once a year! I read the UCR mandate and masterbating makes more sense. These jack offs couldn't run a lemonade stand.

 

IF, you don't run in NY a lot you can also get a 72 hr Temp permit. BUT if you are in and out of the state more than a couple of times a year it is cheaper to bite the bullet and file.

HOWEVER once you do this don't be suprised if you get a notice in the mail that NY wants you to file an income tax statement for the year. Just a heads up.

Perhaps owners need to just stop going to NY and some of these other states or not declaring any miles in the states. It seems to never end the amount of creative ways in which states can find taxes to pick our pockets.

 

I've been saying for years if we all stopped at the hudson river; it wouldn't take too long for the NYC and long island resi-nuts to tire of coming to NJ to get gas, food, clothing, etc.

You will need to get the HUT in the name under which you are operating. You should be able to go to whomever handles your permits in your company and have them order one for you.
