Got back to the hotel room, she was in there. Seems she invaded a room that Housekeeping was cleaning and jumped up on the bed. They recognized her and stuck her back in our room.

I gotta find her a proper home; this ain't working out.

My advice to you would be to start with a puppy, you know, like a blank slate. You can train them to he exactly what you want/need for a otr companion. Best of luck to you and the Mrs.

I couldn't agree with this more. The only way you know you're not getting someone else's problems is if you start off with a new pup.

Agreed. If I wasn't a trucker I could handle this. I can't give her the attention she needs and she is slowly going crazy. VERY high maintenance animal.

Yeah, that thought hadn't escaped me. Luke was with me for six years and I never had an issue with him.

Gonna take that advice and get another puppy. I love older dogs but I need to be in a "normal" job so I can work with them.

Zoomy, if you want to live a more NORMAL life, go apply at YRC in Indianapolis. Drop and hook, and full Benefits after 80 days. Do not be afraid of doubles.

Straight up. LTL--union or not--is a much better deal than you'll ever get from OTR.

Holly Springs was the home of the late great Hill Country Blues Man R.L. Burnside. His family still owns a juke joint there called The Burnside Blues Cafe.
