    I can't wait to join the ranks of proud american greenhorn truckers as i get reamed in the ### by my godlike megacorp in the name of experience. i've been doing it all my life for 8.25 an hour. now if you're telling me that as long as I take it up the buttocks without protest I can make 1000 bucks a week, i'll even buy the lube. & you can have it to F yourself when I switch companies in 6 to a year.

    Eight miles. The Purple Turd went eight stinking miles and the check engine light came on. Less than a mile later the stop engine light/alarm came on and the engine derated itself to 40 mph and back I came to Inland KW in Fontana for an engine check. No word yet on the outcome but I just lost a 1700 mile haul.

    Sigh...it gets really hard to keep a positive attitude when crap like this keeps happening. Talked to my DM and she says they'll try and get me a newer truck if I ever get out of California. A prospect that seems a little distant at the moment.

    So I'll set here and wait.
