I should have known it would be a cluster over there and take forever. First clue about taking forever, they provide showers and laundry facilities for the drivers.

The cluster was the two end pallets were already tilting and they didn't want to fix them. 3 hours later after the load cooled to -1 I could finally go. Did a check of the load before they sealed and those 2 pallets still feel over more knocking one of load locks off. They said it was fine, I said no, I need that fixed. I'm not paying for a claim! Oh did they get pizzed off at me at that point. They "fixed" it by rotating the pallets. Oh well, I have pictures to prove it was loaded that way.

Wow. I rank them as my second best Tyson facility, out of all of them. That doesn't say much, but I can say, most every time I go there load is either ready, or very minimal wait. On rare occassion, maybe couple of hours.

I actually appreciate the showers on those occassions. Only one of two of their facilities that I know of that have them, let alone let us use them.

Loading has always been spot on, every single time that I have been there. Guess that wasn't your situation. Unusual. One of only one's that will actually call you, or even text, when load is ready.

Hope this was just a one off on this load for you. You know it happens. They have always treated me great & cooperative/friendly every time. Haven't been there for a bit & again, hope this a one off, not a pretense of things changing.

Kicking it at the Sheraton Bakersfield tonight. 90 closed all weekend, couldn't make it quite early enough before weekend close (2 days early), and drop at Fontana with a local run out that broke resets at low hours & crap recaps didn't make sense. We'll be back hitting the road with fresh 70's.

Hey, we needed the break anyways. Not like I ever take off. Got's to give it up & relax at least some point. One of the rare students I've had that can run 11 every day, do the double backs when needed to get the resets when they are a possibility, on both ends. AND, we still wind up running on recaps at some point down the line, anyways. Not often able to run like this, so we are both enjoying it. But, going to enjoy our day/night off, nonetheless.

Well, my 90 on this chicken load was to a prison. I wasn't suppose to arrive until tomorrow. Instead of wasting a day to go to prison, I called and asked if I could show up early. Of course they said yes come right on up!

Well of course I was in such a hurry to get there I made just in time before the stop accepting for the day.

After 30 minutes there though, they released me from prison on good behavior, but they kept the 3 pallets of chicken I delivered.

Oh well, prison has its cost I guess. At least I had 3 pallets of chicken to give them for the stay there.

Now try posting that with a straight face, lol.

Anyways, just delivered in Torrington, WY at the state prison. Now time to shower and wait for the next load!
