That's what I think as well it's not enough cash to make any real impact.

Working 3 hours and making $60 bucks doesn't seem like it's worth IMO. If you factor in deductions, fuel on commute, cup of coffee, food, etc. etc., you might be making close to NILL. Around my area, Veltri offers the same 3 hour runs, but offer $27 and hour. And depending on if your going to a BMC (Bulk Mail Center) or P&DC Center, especially with the holiday season coming up, you most likely gonna do more than 3 hours.

If your looking for a part time gig, maybe try looking into being a yard dog. Amazon Fulfillment Centers are always looking for part time yard jockeys, that's if one is located near you. We had a lot of PSE Drivers that would jockey at Amazon on their days off, to supplement their income (that's when PSE existed, it no longer does). Not to mention, you might not have to log it either, depending on company policy. That's the reason why the yard jockey position is assigned to dockworkers at UPSF, and not the actual drivers themselves, because they don't have to log it in. So in essence, it doesn't take away any hours from their logs.

@Mike2633 Do you have the ability to pick up any extra runs/deliveries on Saturdays? That would be a better option, at least in my mind. But not sure if stuff like that is available in a drop yard.

The answer is yes during the Holidays right now it's not a Holiday so they do not need extra volume truck runs. However Christmas and Thanksgiving coming up I will probably put in for auxiliary Volume and Transit. I'll tell you what are volume and transit runs especially on the holidays pay wise dwarfs anything else out there.

What's the difference between bulk mail and Pick up and delivery mail center?

It's not that I don't make enough money now that's not really the issue heck I cleared $945 while on vacation for that week so that's not the problem, I was just scheming of ways to make more. I'm sidelined from moving out for the next 6-12 months anyhow so I'm trying to be as productive as possible. I started buying things in cash when I have to buy stuff I'm trying to cut all spending down to just bare necessities, however you can only go so long with out spending money, plus I like to buy stuff now and then who doesn't? However I started buying everything out side of gas and cell phone in cash that way I can get change and pocket change ads up at the end of the year. I know that sounds really cheap, frugal and petty, but I'm trying to have as big of a war chest as possible LOL.

Dayton runs under the 60 hrs in 7 days rule. I kinda like it that way. Keeps 14 hr days to a minimum.

It's how you save money! Aren't you wanting to buy a house? You'll NEED all the money you can get for a decent down. It'll make a difference in the interest rate you have to pay.

I can understand that. I hate paying for anything with plastic, and I only use checks for paying bills.
