It's gaining followers not ground there's a difference.

So what effective changes have they made ?

Again breaking a law doesn't change it.

I'm not saying the government has the right to do as they're doing however the law is on their side.

So if a car is going over the posted speed ( which is a law made by a government) does the police have the right or authority to stop said vehicle?

We can't pick and choose which laws to follow. If we disagree with a law then do something to have the law changed.

Just because you don't agree with the law of the land does not mean you're excluded from the consequences of breaking it.

As the video showed the Border patrol has the right to ask the question based on supreme court ruling.

This driver was only looking to cause a scene. He didn't even understand the 4th amendment. He thought being detained is the same as seized. Or he was hoping it was. He tried to punk the border patrol and lost.

Bet he had to pay for a window (did he really think the agent was bluffing ) and probably fired or Atleast should've been.

We're not going to agree I get that but just because I'm not looking for youtube followers doesn't mean I agree with the direction of the country.

But I'm smart enough to also realize that you're not going to win the argument on the side of the road with a person who's only doing their job and doesn't write the laws only charged with enforcing them.

This video is a shining example of why the government has seized the power it has, it knows the people won't do what's really needed to effect meaningful change.

So like, follow or whatever else these you tubers are trying to accomplish but I'd bet ya if they get enough followers they'll also get a youtube check.

It would be even more entertaining if he'd pull that crap at a checkpoint in any other country.

    I agree its not valid.

If you're going to argue with in idiot, don't grant validity to arguments that are based on a premise that is either nonexistent or psychotic.

In the video, you can actually see how much of a waste of time it is, as the officer tries to convince an idiot to answer a simple question. But since idiot has some psychotic issue causing him to think that somehow his rights are being violated, the officers efforts at a simple resolution prove to be futile.

Simple fact, driving a motor vehicle is a privilege, not a right. The courts, all the way to the Supreme Court, have ruled their is less of an expectation of privacy in a motor vehicle than a home. Any LEO can stop, legally and rightfully, any motor vehicle at any time with or without reason. If the occupants of a motor vehicle give LEOs a hard time, they should not be surprised when their vehicle and person is searched, and/or seized.

I doubt these morons have ever read our Constitution, much less understand it, or it's origins. Thinking you don't have to abide by the law simply because you choose not to has got to be a symptom of type of psychosis.

You might want to remind yourself who owns the roads you drive on. Did you know when you sign for your license you agree to field sobriety if requested? That's why the penalty is more severe if you refuse. Your license is a privilege to drive on their roads, not a right. I was also a LEO for 14 years, and we had a job to do, and it wasn't easy. Most of us didn't enjoy just harassing people. You'd be amazed at the illegal stuff that runs up and down those freeways. If you don't like being "invaded" then don't drive on somebody else's roads. 99% of Leo's aren't going to bother you unless you're being stupid. Think of how many you've driven by without incident.

I'm sorry you ex LEO guys, I tried to stay out of this but just wanted to mention one thing. The LEOs today do have a hard job, but most of these guys are GIANT a holes.

There is a YouTube channel that shows just how bad and controlling they are. It's called honor you oath. You would be surprised how many LEOs don't know the constitution either. This guy goes around just taking pictures of government buildings from the public sidewalk and is harassed and has been thrown in jail. You can view the same images from google maps but he wants to see if LEOs will honor their oath of the constitution and protect his 1st amendment rights.

Most of the time they do, but you can see they have a hard time holding back the power trip they normally get to use at the average citizen. They love throwing people in jail just because they can.

I watched on YouTube a mother watching her minor son getting roughed up by the police and she was screaming because they wouldn't talk to her. They told her to shut up or she would go to jail too.

When we get to the point where LEOs are held responsible for throwing innocent people in jail then this power trip crap would stop.

I know you guys will disagree, but that's my 2 cents.

The freeways and most roads are paid for with the gas tax, so everyone that drives, pay for the roads we drive on.. The state receives money from the gas tax to build the roads, and maintain them.. They are NOT somebody else's roads as you put it...

Wow so many people against law and order but if you're a cdl holder you have the privilege not the right to drive a commercial vehicle.

The guy in the video, if he's so against being treated unconstitutionally then whys he follow the dot rules? Why do the mandatory 30 minute break within 8 hours? Why only drive 11 hours without a 10 hour break? Heck for that matter why even keep a logbook? Why not next time just bypass the check point? Why did he have his seat belt on? Why did he say anything? Why not just take the 5th amendment?

You guys who say MOST LEO are bad or looking to throw someone in jail are nuts. You have no idea nor will you ever. I'd bet most LEO would do whatever possible to avoid putting someone in jail. The paperwork and continuing court case is a pain in the axx.

But in today's society it's more acceptable to try and provoke the police than to respect them.

I'd love for these bad apples that are in the police force to be taken off the force. I have no room for bad cops but to generalize all cops as bad is just like saying all truck drivers stink, cant take a shower piss in parking lots and drive for swift. That's the opinion of the public but we know it's just a small percentage of drivers that the stereotype fits.

You want to see change in policing let's start with the media and citizens.

How about the media stop glorifying the negative and start accentuating the positive. Let's teach the youth respect and honor and to be proud of doing the right thing. Let's stand up for the constitution not cower behind it as an excuse to break the law.

As usual we as Americans can't agree therfore the ruling class has us where they want us.

If the truth be told the only saving grace for the American way will be a revolution unlike any the Country or World has seen. And it's sad it would have to come to that.

I'll get off this subject with this last parting statement.

I've been stopped by police, border patrol hell even another 1 or 2 agencies before but never did I disrespect them nor did they I. It's all about the approach and how we as people treat others. I know my experience is that mine however all these shootings that have happened have a common thread usually. The deceased is usually a career criminal in order to become a career criminal with a rap sheet they had prior interaction with Law Enforcement, they weren't killed then so what was different this time. In almost every case it was defiance of an order ie; drop the gun/weapon etc.

It's not right people are dying (think Chicago) but it's also not right nobody seems to respect each other or the word of law.
