I though well contract mail hauler is different then my normal job heck U-Haul is alway hiring near my house certainly I am smart enough to be able to rent out trucks.

@Big Don is right if your going to get a part time-temp/seasonal job do something different. I did want to haul mail because the post office is interesting but that probably will not come to fruition.

I said to my uncle will retail stores be obsolete? The answers is no not 100% because people still like to shop to shop, but if I want something specifically the Internet is the first place I go.

I have had a lot of fun buying die cast 1:64th scale trucks I know people can say oh those are just toys but toys are fun to buy.
These are my two recent additions:

At any rate here's a new one I was actually going to make a thread on this and the many advantages to bribery. The shop called for my truck and Saturday I got it all ready to go down to the shop.
Now I wanted work done and the best way is to bribe the people.

Same way Trainers at Seaworld are always bribing Shamoo to do tricks.

I got some cookies for transit and the shop figured they would relay any information if there was something in it for them.
So that's my system for getting things done.

I didn't know Amazon would ship to a PO Box! Is this new, or is it just for small items?

I do a lot of research about what I'm buying on line, even if I intend to by it at a brick and mortar store.

Yeah, you'll find that around this time seasonal help will be needed in the Parcel industry. Even USPS hires seasonal as well, but you'll be floating around all odd hours and have to go to different hubs if you are needed.

If you're still interested in jockeying for Amazon part time (or Spotter as they call it), give them a call. They don't really advertise about this position and they work with your schedule. But be forewarned, because you have NO IDEA how hectic it's gonna be at them Fulfillment Centers during the holidays. Luckily for us, we have our own dedicated docks, so we don't have to go through the mess that other carriers have to go through.

Retail stores will never go away, but with the ease of ordering items online nowadays made e-commerce a booming industry, and Parcel and LTL companies are benefiting from the explosion. E-commerce is the reason why USPS is changing into a Parcel delivery service rather than hauling actual mail. Don't get me wrong, we'll always haul letter mail despite the fact that it's down because of emails, but everything else is up, including Priority, Express and Parcels, and all because of e-commerce.
