Running with JCT, Part Deux

C&S update: yep, still here. But hey, it's only been 8.25 hours

 

The one in Stockton? I'm still here at the WinnDixie C&S. Been at the dock for 4 hours. The half trailer load breaks down to 55 pallets. Good thing I have a reserved spot over at the TA.

 

When it was Winn Dixie, you'd be in and out on a couple of hours

Has anyone picked up in Marysville, CA? If so, is there any parking avail there?

 

It's a pear farm, I would say you can, but you might want to call them. That's where I loaded Friday

 

I was trying to avoid long distance charges

 

Final C&S update: 11.5 hours. Thanks for making me miss my next pickup. Now I have to load it in the a.m. and lose an entire driving day. Azzwads

 

The one here took 6 hours.

 

11.5 hours? That's crazy. Consider if we as drivers just showed up somewhere for an appointment 11 hours late. We wouldn't be employed for long, that's sure. For a shipper or receiver to take 11 hours is the epitome of un-professionalism. I certainly hope you see some detention for that.
