That's pretty much what I've settled in to. 1.80 isn't worth it when you're constantly pulling mountains and dealing with a lack of parking and non stop traffic.

Time is slipping by on you whipper. We are leading up to winter holidays. We have 8 more weeks and the Christmas season is done for us.

Let me start off by saying I am in no way bragging...that being said, I had one load last week that I made $4.xx/mi heading to Pelham manor above NYC...and it was one of the biggest pain in the ball loads I have ever done, and that is coming from an ex reefer driver who normally ran to LA lol. Was it worth it...I guess, but if I did loads like that every day for a couple weeks, I'd need a straight jacket:p

Im so sick of the lack/crappy of freight. SoCal is the only market that has decent rates, but it's so hard to get there for more than $1.14.

There used to be $160-1.70 cross country loads popping up, but they are no more.

Every area sucks and long dead head is getting tiresome.

If that particular load is on the board every week I would try to figure out the timing and book it over and over. The more you do it the less you will feel the need for a straight jacket. it could just be a one off load, but some loads you will find hit the board on the same day and time every week.

If it popped up again, I'd probably do it...I made my planned revenue for the day in 5 hours and 200 miles, but I hate NYC area...like playing Frogger but with a 70 ft truck lol

I was thinking about this earlier. Waiting for that big rush of freight, and it just hasn't happened. This might be a good winter to just take off the month of February.

Then as soon as you get used to it they'll steal it away and it will never hit the board again.

The stores I've been into while home already have the Christmas items on sale on shelves.

I don't think we've had a "Rush" of Christmas freight in a couple years.

Seems as if these shippers hoard trailers and if they load them either SNI saves the loads for company trucks or the rates are so bad we'd lose money if we hauled it.

Lmao first off freightpicker been around ever since I've been here which is awhile now. It's never affected loads before..the program is oversaturated now so it's more guys with there forks and knives out... And whos to say sni isn't as soon as they get confirmation putting them on company trucks. It can happen.. But I run the same area week to week so I don't really have that problem I know what time and what days certain loads pop up.. I'm not stressing myself out saving unconfirmed loads.. I've done it playfully many times and I've never got it lol.. Never.. So I go For what I see and keep rolling.. Lmao 10 more months my title will be in hand and I'll gracefully bow out of the Choice program.. on another note, these new ics really be speeding up and down the highway lol...I cruise at 65-66 and most ICs blow my doors off smh... Guess they run on vegetable oil:cool::cool::cool::cool:
