ABF Drivers What Do You Make of This?

Well what do you guys think about these Werner Pups? This one was found in Wythville, VA. What are they using these pups for? Never seen a Werner pup before.

 

Yes, but what's strange is the Werner Pup? It's one thing to pay ABF to pull your trailers it's another though with the actual Werner 28' trailer what's the deal with that? Is Werner so cheap that they said to ABF "Hey it's not good enough that we pull your trailers at cost, will even bring in are own pups so you can save ware and tear on yours."

From what I heard by another member of this forum via telephone conversation Monday night ABF uses Werner to pull there pups in low freight area's meaning there's a terminal that has a lot of in bound, but doesn't have a lot of out bound and they can't just have trailers pooling up there so they use Werner as like the manifest train to move empty pups to bigger more busy terminals.

 

So that's where they come from LOL! Now I know!

 

That's what I though prices must be as low as you can go. I'm going to start using these guys to take me to work in the morning! LOL! (Bad Joke)
