    All I know is if burning an extra $100 in fuel gets me to that one extra load that week that nets me an additional $600 or more...then maybe it's worth it.

    That's the beauty of making your own business decisions.

    Shhhhh! Or schneider will figure out I've added 11th gear. Most truck's only go to 10, but I rock so hard they had to make mine goto 11.

    In some cases is not a big difference, a stop and hook location that is open 24 7 for example. But in most cases where is an appointment load and unload and showing up an hour early or the night before won't get you empty any sooner, it can add up to a big difference. More so with older tricks that don't easily get as good of fuel efficiency. The difference between 5.5 mpg and 7.5 is HUGE.
