It's amazing the US side is by far more hostile than the Canadian side, and this is to their own citizens. I realize there is a need for rigidness in the process but there's no need to treat folks like they're a piece of trash, especially us who are just doing a job as they are.

 

Im already parked about 15 mins away so am good with waiting, was just trying to see if I could squeeze this load in before cutoff tomorrow night, but thinking more about it, wytheville gatorade would need to accept trailer drop 9hrs early so probably no point pushing it.

 

@KD5AXG , don't let that s*** bother you. You know how truck drivers are. We couldn't get along if we were getting paid too. Someone is always out to piss on someone else's parade. No one knows because they're not in the truck with you. If you choose to leave, make on your own terms. God bless ya man

Yeah Wytheville gator is getting pretty crappy. Guards gave me that bs of "oh you can't drop unless you're taking one out" mess. I was just dropping an empty, bobtail out and going home but nope, had to drop in the yard instead.

 

So could Canada, if anything more so because I'm not a citizen and don't *HAVE* to be treated respectfully because I don't *HAVE* to enter. And yet they chose to at least treat humans like humans. The US guys are far too big in the head

 

Knocked out a little over half my run from Rochester MN to the Richmond yard. 692 today with 599 left.

No way I was getting caught in Chicago's Friday night rush hour again so I dropped down the 39 to the 74/70. Smooth flat out running and no traffic jambs!

 

I looked it up on google satellite, doesn't seem to be gated yard like wytheville and I spotted the trailer lot. I will try em 4 hrs early. If nothing else I can make it to wytheville before it gets too far past my bedtime. Will see how my mood is tomorrow and decide on trying my luck dropping early then.

 

Yeah that trailer lot is good and quiet. If you're afraid of the dark, don't park there lol. Should let you drop since it'll be loaded. I think they gave me s*** that day because I had an empty.

 

It's a powertrip issue, the tsa guys have deloped a similar mindset.
