    Abilene don't hire out of California.........correct.

    or don't drive there anyway...... not correct.

    If I'm not in Richmond, I'm in California, every north south inch of it and every east west inch of it also.

    I just got done driving 3600 miles in California the last 4 days. I've seen enough of it for a while.

    Left Colton 3am Friday morning, dropped that load in Ellenwood 10pm last night, then hooked a loaded one and dropped it at 9am this morning in Miami. We were done at 10am, sent a message into dispatch that I was running to the house real quick and would be ready to roll later today.

    My wife was waiting for me were I park my truck, took my bag with me, got Ray in the car then went home. I immediately got my ladder out, checked every inch of my roof and house, declared it unscathed, then went in and showered. Ray was already in a shower. My wife made us lunch, I got to play with our Chocolate Lab Coco then dispatch called with a load assignment.

    We are now headed up to Brunswick Ga to swap out a driver and deliver 6am in Lake Placid Fl.

    What?? Poor guy didn't get to float in the company pool?? Glad, everything is safe including you're wife! Very nice of you to bring you're trainee along! Abilene is blessed to have a good man like you representing them!

    The pool was ready, but I didn't have time. My wife was just happy to see me, if only for a few hours. My trainee offered to stay in the truck and wait for me. I couldn't and my wife insisted.

    @5speed

    10-4

    Yesterday I went and bought a lock at the J. Used my points, lol.

    Been here since 1:15pm. Parked at the Kwik Star truck stop on the south side of Clinton, IA. Nice little place with plenty of parking.

    5speed Thanks this.

    I'm in southwest GA at a Crop Production place. Big place, plenty of room. Just no signs. I guarantee I'm in their own company truck docks in the morning, mostly because it's the closest to the main office. Ohh well. I've sent the arrival message. Maybe the wrong dock, but the right property for sure.
