Now I have just dropped a trailer here in Indy. Do I grab an empty? Do I stay here and wait for instructions? Do I bobtail it out of here and wait for instructions?
Inquiring minds wanna know.MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this. -
Looking good!MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this. -
@ExtremeUnction i grab whatever empty and send in a msg with the number, whether its reefer or dry, and time left to roll and if im hanging out at shipper or rolling to nearby ts
And dont forget, after about 5-6pm richmond time nothing will be coming until morning unless they secretly put a task on you. You will know after you end trip. If somethings there itll pop up within a few minutes. Depending on ur location id try to hang out at shipper as parking can be difficult to nonexistant.MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this. -
@ExtremeUnction I'd grab an empty, but if you're worried about parking, you could wait till morning.
@MidWest_MacDaddy had the right address, but had to wait to back it in,they had a trailer in the door.Tookem 5 1/2 hrs, guess there getting quicker.MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this. -
I don't think we can always assume that we should get an empty. I did that at a target DC in ohio and it caused me to lose my next load which was a preloaded trailer at groveport.MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this. -
So let us know what you are told... LOL -
Yes, nice little snake back around corners of buildings and utility poles to bump that dock for sure... GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!
And yes, @5speed loves to draw diagrams... -

4mer trucker Thanks this. -
Been there a few times myself and bobtailed out to park and await instructions only to be sent back to grab an empty.
Not sure it's the right answer but more likely than not it's normally better to be under an empty than without.
Not sure what others here have experienced.Redtwin Thanks this.
